:: How Tattales Began ::
See my tattoo movie of me getting my 4th dragon (hip to knee). It runs about 30 seconds long with the sound of the needle included!

Moving onward with life, I was at a real pivoting point. I was working downtown at a copy shop on Baltimore St. For those of you that wouldn’t know, this is “the block” of Baltimore. Residing there now are the classics like the Gaiety bootleg porn video store and the new Larry Flynt Hustler Club. I had left a huge group of friends that I always hung with for different reasons or another, but mostly from conflicts of opinion and jealousies..we all have experienced this at some time I guess. Anyway, I was looking for something new.

And there she was, a fresh face, someone different than I had ever dated before, someone different than from anyone I would have ever been friends with before. This woman would open the doors of perception for me to experience new things and to broaden my previous concepts of friendship and what was really important in life. I loved everything about that and felt like I was embarking on a new beginning…so time for some color!

After finding out my Little Vinnie’s artist moved on and was not to be found, I was in need of someone else I could trust. Now my fiancee’, the above mentioned woman suggests I go where she got her sun tattoo. A tattoo about the size of a baseball on her right upper arm had fantastic shading of reds, oranges and yellow for such a simple design. I was sold. A quick trip to Glen Burnie, MD and I am in front of Dragon Moon, the home of the world traveled Tom Beasley.

Actually, Tom’s wife, Mick, had done my wife’s tattoo, but Tom has done numerous custom works specializing in Japanese designs. This is the guy for the job! After a quick tracing of my current pieces and a brief discussion on my feelings behind my tats, I am off with anticipation awaiting my appointment where I will see the outcome of the talk. I told him this piece, although three, I am seeing as one.
