 :: Memorial Tattoo ::
My grandpa passed away in April, I was in the very hospital room during
his last hour alive, and was there when he passed. It was very hard for me to get
over the fact he's dead, and it still is. I have been wanting a tattoo for a while,
and when he passed away, I finally figured out what I wanted.
I got a memorial tattoo of my grandpa. Its very symbolistic. The butterfly
represents his soul which lives for eternity, which is located beside a heart, which
resembles my heart, and how he'll always be close to it. The bumble bee symbolizes
industrial, which for my grandpa, is just how he was always busy working in his
little shop at home, he would always be in there. The trail of stars represent
strength, and the long battles he has fought and over come.
