We are trying to capture the people behind the tats.
So many stories are about the artists. Even the new showed INKED is about the shop and the artists that work there. Throw in a shocker because it is Vegas and you are entertained, but you have to watch 5 or 6 shows to get a story out of them.
Now, MIAMI INK is about the artists, but equally about the people getting the tats. They detail many stories while keeping you intrigued about the wild lifestyle of a Miami tattoo artist.
Regardless, I am glad to see it hitting mainstream cuz it has certainly been bringing out the ink. I have been seeing it everywhere. When I first got inked, it was still a bit taboo. Now you can count the bodies on the beach that don't have a tat on both hands. Not all are good though, but who am I to complain?
